At Betz Family Winery, our winemaking philosophy is guided by a singular focus: to craft wines that honor the unique character of Washington State’s finest vineyards. Because we prioritize quality over volume, our production remains intentionally small.

To ensure our wines are shared fairly with those who value them most, we operate an Allocation List rather than a traditional wine club.

How the List Works

 

Membership on the List is the only way to guaranteed access to our core releases, library offerings, and our most limited projects. Unlike a standard club, there are no automatic shipments or monthly fees. Instead, you are invited to purchase during two primary release windows each year.

  • The Spring Release: Featuring our flagship Bordeaux-style wines.

  • The Fall Release: Featuring our latest Rhone-style wines.

Membership Benefits

 

While the primary benefit of membership is the opportunity to secure wines that are rarely available at retail, members also enjoy:

  • Guaranteed Allocations: A dedicated window to purchase new releases before they are offered to our waitlist.

  • Library & Exclusive Access: First rights to purchase large-format bottles, aged library releases, and event-exclusive small-lot bottlings.

  • The Case Reward: In appreciation of those who cellar our wines, we offer a 10% discount on any purchase of 12 bottles or more.

  • Member-Only Experiences: Invitations to private winery events, including our annual release tastings and technical discussions with the winemaking team.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • No. There is no fee to join the Betz Family List. Your only commitment is the purchase of wine during our active release periods to maintain your active status.

  • When a release window opens, you will receive an email invitation to log in to your member dashboard. You can select your desired bottles from your personal allocation. Once your order is placed, we will ship it directly to your door (weather permitting) or you can pick it up at our release events.

  • To ensure we can provide allocations to everyone on our waiting list, we ask that members purchase at least once per calendar year. Accounts with no purchase history over two consecutive releases may be moved to the waiting list to make room for new members.

  • Allocations are based on production levels and membership longevity. If you would like to request additional bottles beyond your current allocation, you may do so during the checkout process, and we will fulfill requests based on availability after the release window closes.
